Between 1940 and 1980, asbestos was commonly used in the construction of both private and public buildings as an inexpensive, easy to work insulator. While asbestos in a solid state is not dangerous, it was discovered that if the substance were to be disturbed or pulverized, allowing the fibers to become airborne and inhaled, it could result in Mesothelioma and other cancers. One hundred thousand fibers can fit on the tip of a pen; one fiber can be hazardous to your health. Asbestos removal can no longer be considered optional; it is integral to ensuring the health and safety of all who pass through your doors. Safe Environmental Corporation recommends that all suspect materials be analyzed by an accredited testing facility for positive identification, since it was used for manufacturing such a variety of products.

Notification of state agencies is required ten (10) days prior to removal by a state-licensed and accredited abatement company. Regulations for residential properties vary by state. Safe Environmental Corporation is licensed by the states of: Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Safe Environmental Corporation personnel are qualified and licensed for inspection, air sampling, and abatement.
